Notes From My Testing Diary
I am Arron Rogers, and I keep a diary most gamers would find boring. Every session gets three lines: what I tested, what broke, what changed. That diary is the real author of this site. What follows is a normal week from it, names and loadouts included.
Monday: Break Things on Purpose
Monday evenings belong to destruction testing. I take one mechanic, like the Kinetic Stagger windows in ARC Raiders, and push it until it fails: wrong angles, bad timing, underleveled gear. The failure points get timestamps and screenshots. Roughly half of Monday’s notes become warnings inside future guides, the kind that save readers from my own mistakes.
Wednesday: Measure Twice
Wednesday is measurement night, usually in Destiny 2 or WoW Forever. Same route twice, same rotation twice, numbers compared. Last month this routine produced my favorite finding of the year: two popular farm routes with identical reputations differed by forty percent in actual yield per hour. The slower-looking one won, because it had zero contested nodes. That single evening changed three of my guides.
Sunday: Write Only What Survived
Sunday is writing day, and the rule is brutal: only findings that survived both Monday and Wednesday make the page. Unrepeated results, lucky drops, and unverified rumors stay in the diary. Readers get the filtered version, which is why the guides here read shorter than the testing behind them.
What This Covers
Destiny 2 endgame and its visual design quirks. ARC Raiders bosses, stagger windows and quest stacking. Tarkov armor math and stamina budgets. FOV and latency trade-offs. And lately, WoW Forever gold notes, because economies deserve the same stopwatch treatment as raids.
The diary keeps growing on the All Posts page. If your own testing contradicts mine, good: send numbers, not opinions.
