To accompany a retrospective exhibition of Fay Godwin's photographs', we were commissioned to design the book Landmarks, which included, as well as many of her familiar open landscape subjects in monochrome, intimate townscapes and secret gardens closely observed in colour.
This was the culmination of a long and fruitful collaboration in the design of Fay's books that began in 1975.
